Search engines like standards compliant websites; well structured pages are easier to index, and rank better. They’re also easier to update because we use XHTML and CSS to separate content from presentation.

Web Development
We have developed many web applications ranging from intranets, content managements systems and image galleries to e-commerce sites. We assess each project on its particular requirements and make recommendations on what technology will best accomplish the task.
For many of our clients the cost of developing custom-made web applications is not practical, in these situations we can build on existing 'open-source' solutions – instead spending development time customising systems to meet your business requirements and design aesthetics.
Whilst our focus is on PHP / MySQL, we also support other server-side technologies such as ColdFusion. In some circumstances - such as when rapid turn-around, custom development is essential – ColdFusion can be a smart choice.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Stomp Box offers a comprehensive search engine optimisation service. SEO improves your website's ranking on the major search engines; Google, Yahoo! and MSN.
We perform a number of tasks to ensure your website's exposure is optimal. We can also make suggestions for improving your site's content and information architecture.
At Stomp Box we use standards compliant XHTML and CSS where ever possible – well-formed code is easier to index and ensures that your content is presented consistently and accurately to any search engine crawling your site.
